| Vision and Mission of Second Level Ministry Our mission is to support the spiritual growth of Japanese Christians – the process of maturing as a disciple of Christ. Our vision is to see disciples being multiplied: Disciples of Christ multiplying themselves by making disciples, based on the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 and 2 Timothy 2:2. Our ministry is to provide spiritual support for those who have been saved and who disciple others, specifically: Discipling and Mentoring, Training, Soul Care and Resources – All from a Japanese perspective. |

Core Values of Second Level Ministry
1：Christ-likeness
In order that each believer becomes a true disciple of Christ who can glorify God, we seek the way of life and the faith that God desires. We focus on following Christ and being transformed to be more like Him, to bring God glory. (John 15:8, Ephesians 5:1 NASB )
2：Obedience and Application of God’s Word
We value obedience to God’s Word. Out of our love for God, we seek to learn, obey, and apply His words to our lives. We aim to raise up true worshipers of Christ who know and live out God’s Word and love. We insist that spiritual growth is through God’s Word, not specific discipleship methodology. (John 14:21, 2 Timothy 4:2-4 )
3：Multiplication
We believe in the multiplication of disciples, that full obedience to Jesus means a disciple of Christ is to teach others to make disciples of Christ (spiritual multiplication). (Matthew 28:18-20, 2 Timothy 2:2）
4：The Holy Spirit
In everything, have confidence in the guidance of the Holy Spirit and work to entrust yourself to God’s plan. (Philippians 1:6, Philippians 2:13, John 17:6-11）

1: Discipling and Mentoring
In the lifelong process of sanctification, we value relationship based approach of growing to maturity in Christ.
- We disciple Japanese believers intentionally, personally, and strategically
- We provide mentoring that emphasizes spiritual care
- We support local communities and churches by providing holistic discipleship opportunities through Bible studies that are focused on the transforming power of the Gospel
2: Training
We equip and mobilize workers for missions towards Japanese.
- We provide supervision and mentorship training for individuals, small groups, and churches.
- We plan annual Mentorship Conferences to train Japanese believers to be effective disciple makers. mentorshipconference.org

We walk alongside them on their faith journey to a deeper level and to personal wholeness.
- We provide pastoral care and spiritual care to bring healing individually and as a group.
- We provide spiritual direction sessions to discern God’s presence and His will.
4: Resources
Our resources are reproducible so that disciples can make more disciples!
- We create the tools for spiritual growth and ministries towards Japanese.
- We provide resources for new believers to grow in faith.
