Statement of Faith

信仰基準

1. We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

私たちは旧新約聖書が原典において無誤無謬の霊感された神のことばであり、人が救われるための神の御心の完全な啓示であること、またその聖書がキリスト者の信仰と生活における天来の究極的権威であることを信じます。

2. We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three Persons: God, the Father, God, the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit.

私たちは万物の創造者である唯一人の神を信じます。また、その神が、まったく完全であられ、永遠に存在される三つの位格、父、御子、聖霊であることを信じます。

3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the true God and true man, without sin having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a perfect and complete sacrifice for our sins, according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where He is now our advocate to God, the Father.

私たちはイエス・キリストが、まことの神でありまことの人であることを信じます。彼は、処女マリヤより聖霊によって罪なく生まれました。イエスは、聖書に記されている通り、私たちの罪のための完全な捧げものとして十字架上で死なれました。さらに、イエスは、死人のうちより肉体を持って復活し、天に昇り、父なる神に私たちのためにとりなしておられます。

4. We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

私たちは、この世にあって人々に罪を確信させ、信じた罪人を再生し、内に住まわれ、教え導き、敬虔な生活と奉仕のために信者を励まし、主イエス・キリストに栄光を帰す、聖霊の働きを信じます。

5. We believe that man was created in the image of God but sinned and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

私たちは、人が神のかたちに創造されたことを信じます。しかし、罪を犯したことにより失われた状態にあり、聖霊による再生を通してのみ、救いと霊的いのちにあずかることが出来ると信じます。

6. We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provided the only ground for the justification and salvation for all who believe, and that only those who trust Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become the children of God.

私たちは、イエス・キリストの流された血と復活だけが、信じる者すべての義認と救いの根拠であると信じます。信仰によってイエス・キリストを信じる者だけが聖霊によって生まれ、神の子どもとされることを信じます。

7. We believe that those who are children of God are the Church; that the Church is the fellowship of believers whose trust and faith is in Jesus Christ.

私たちは、教会とは神の子供たちであり、イエス・キリストに信頼し、彼を信仰する人々の交わりであることを信じます。

8. We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

私たちはキリストが再び来られることを信じます。

9. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead: The believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with their Lord, and the unbeliever to everlasting separation from God.

私たちは死者の復活を信じます。信者は永遠の祝福と主と共にある喜びに、不信者は永遠に神から離されることを信じます。
